JO-MO-Pro Protein Bars Ingredients
JO-MO's chocolate product line was joined in November 2024 by innovative protein bars, which differ in taste, nutritional facts and texture from anything on the market. The bars are essentially JO-MO chocolate with a lot of soy protein, with nut butter (hazelnut, peanut, pistachio) and natural flavor inclusions, such as roasted pecans, roasted cocoa bean chips, hazelnuts and coffee chips. All bars have 20 grams of protein, 2-3 net-carbs and 0.5 grams of sugar. All bars are vegan, sweetened with SugarNess from natural sources and about 17% cocoa butter.
Our protein bars are suitable for those who want to avoid sugar, avoid milk, avoid industrial ingredients, as well as high quality and delicious, those who want to enrich their diet with complete protein, a good solution for a day away from home, for athletes and bodybuilders - for everyone.
Plant-based Protein

Soy protein is a complete protein - it contains the 9 essential amino acids for humans in proportions similar to those needed by humans. For thousands of years, soy and its products have been used as a raw material for protein-rich foods in Asian countries. Soy proteins are extracted from soybeans. During the production process, the soybeans are cleaned, peeled, and ground to create soy powder from which fats are extracted using organic solvents. From the fat-free powder, chips containing a minimum of 50%-90% protein are produced. Most of the soy proteins are glycinin and β-conglycinin, which make up 65%-89% of all soy proteins. However, there are also other proteins that may negatively affect the taste. The quality of the proteins is mainly determined by the extraction and purification processes of the proteins, taking care to keep them away from the final product.

As you know, almonds are the fruit of the almond tree and have been known for years as healthy nutrients. Almonds are included in the group of sources rich in healthy plant fats, and are recommended for daily consumption. They are a good source of healthy unsaturated fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber.
Studies have shown that consuming almonds improves blood sugar levels, contributes to lowering LDL bad cholesterol levels in the blood and reduces the risk of heart disease. Just as important - almonds are delicious.

Pecans are an American nut originally grown on the pecan tree. They resemble walnuts in shape, but their flavor is sweeter and more delicate, and they have a particularly buttery, soft texture.
Like other nuts, they can also be eaten as a snack, either raw or roasted. In JO-MO products, we only use roasted pecan chips.
Pecans are rich in healthy fats and antioxidants, and contain important vitamins and minerals such as zinc and magnesium. Therefore, they are a nutritious and delicious addition to any menu.

The pistachio is the king of nuts, as many call it. It originated in the Middle East, where it has been grown for thousands of years and has become a staple in many cuisines. Pistachios are known for their delicate, sweet flavor and unique green-oval color. Pistachios add flavor and texture to our protein bars and we use the best quality.
Pistachios are packed with nutritional benefits. They are rich in protein, fiber, and healthy fats that help you feel full. Pistachios are also a good source of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

Peanuts are actually legumes, but are often mistaken for nuts due to their similar characteristics and culinary uses. Unlike other nuts, peanuts grow underground.
Peanuts are an important source of protein, including in our protein bars, and are high in healthy fats and fiber. Eating peanuts, like other nuts, helps to feel full, balances blood sugar levels, and is part of a healthy diet.

Coffee beans are the seeds of the coffee fruit. There are two main types of beans used to make the coffee we drink: Arabica and Robusta. Arabica beans, which are usually grown at higher altitudes, are considered to be of higher quality and have a richer, more complex flavor, with notes of flowers and fruits. Robusta beans, on the other hand, are grown at lower altitudes, contain more caffeine, and have a stronger, more bitter taste.
After harvesting, the coffee beans are processed and dried, and then roasted to develop their aromas and flavors. The level of roasting greatly affects the taste of the final coffee. We use dark roasted coffee beans, which create bitter and stronger flavors.

Roasted cocoa nibs, also known as "Nibs", are actually the bean parts of the cocoa fruit after they have been roasted, shelled and crushed. They are considered the purest form of chocolate, before they are turned into cocoa mass and cocoa butter from which chocolate and other cocoa products are made.
The nibs have a rich, bitter taste, with a deep chocolate aroma. They are crunchy and have a unique texture. They are particularly rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber. Although they are not sweet, cocoa nibs are an excellent and healthy addition to protein bars, providing a strong chocolate flavor without added sugar.
